Choose your Dahlonega winery route around lunch

Start with the experience you want, then build a geographically sensible route. These are planning examples, subject to opening days, group policies and confirmed availability; a winery listing is not a guaranteed reservation.

Signature: a boxed-lunch winery day

The current Dahlonega Signature planner includes Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard for the boxed-lunch stop. Choose two other eligible stops, such as Kaya or Cavender Creek, around that anchor. Montaluce and Wolf Mountain are Grand Reserve-only selections in the Signature planner.

  • Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard
  • Kaya Vineyard & Winery
  • Cavender Creek Vineyards

Grand Reserve: make winery dining the centerpiece

Choose Montaluce or Wolf Mountain for the included winery-dining stop in the Dahlonega planner, with two additional stops suited to your group. Plan around the meal reservation instead of trying to squeeze lunch between four tastings.

  • Montaluce Winery & Restaurant
  • Wolf Mountain Vineyards

Classic: choose your own tasting and food purchases

Classic provides private transport and a custom itinerary with up to four stops. It suits groups who want to choose and pay for their own tastings and meals. Tell us if Cleveland-area wineries are a priority so we can allow for the drive rather than adding an unplanned detour.

Winery details that can change your plan

Visitor policies checked October 1, 2026. Wineries set their own hours and admission rules; confirm current details for your date.

Montaluce: tasting and dining are separate

Montaluce lists wine tasting as first-come, first-served and recommends about an hour. Dining uses a separate reservation process. Private events can affect access, so confirm the visit before fixing the rest of your route.

Check official visitor information

Wolf Mountain: plan group visits ahead

Wolf Mountain requires tasting reservations for groups of eight or more, and reservations for dining. Opening days vary seasonally; check the winery before choosing your date.

Check official visitor information

Cavender Creek: check your group fit

Cavender Creek lists a 16-and-over guest policy, service dogs only, and no reservations for groups over eight or tour buses. Larger groups should confirm accommodation before making it a must-visit stop.

3-person minimum billed group

Designed for one couple

Check current tour offers and the itemized booking total for your date and group. Additional pickup mileage is $1.75 per mile where applicable. Groups of 6+ are charged 20% gratuity up front on the final bill after discounts, fees and extras; smaller groups leave gratuity at their discretion. Optional purchases and special winery experiences are only included when specified.

Dahlonega pickup and timing: what to send us

Send the actual cabin, hotel or home address, your group size and the date you want to travel. A Dahlonega mailing address alone is not enough to plan mountain-road pickup or the return journey.

If you are coming from Atlanta, choose your wine region first. Allow for the round trip as well as winery visits and lunch; your departure and return times are confirmed for your address and route.

Tell us about mobility needs, a fixed dinner reservation or a must-visit winery before booking. Winery access, group seating and special experiences need confirmation. We do not arrange cave tours.

How your winery day comes together

  1. 1. Pickup and first winery

Meet your driver at the agreed location. Begin with a tasting-room visit selected for your package and route.

  2. 2. A planned lunch stop

Signature uses the required boxed-lunch location; Grand Reserve includes winery dining. Classic guests choose and purchase their own meal.

  3. 3. Final tasting and return

Leave time for the last winery, bottle purchases and the drive back. Three well-paced stops can be more comfortable than adding extra travel.

Have your date, group size, pickup address and preferred region ready? We can help you match the route to the right experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dahlonega Wine Tour FAQs

Are Dahlonega wine tours private or shared?

Our vehicle and itinerary are private to your group. This does not mean you have a winery or tasting room to yourselves; other visitors may be present.

How many wineries do we visit, and how long is the tour?

Signature and Grand Reserve include three stops and typically take 6–8 hours, depending on pickup and route. Classic allows up to four stops. Ultimate Celebration is an approximately 10-hour experience for one couple.

Are wine tastings and lunch included?

Classic is transportation-first: tastings, drinks and food are purchased separately. Signature includes a tasting or glass at each covered stop and a boxed lunch. Grand Reserve includes premium tastings, winery dining and charcuterie. Check the package details for covered destinations and extras.

Can Signature include Montaluce or Wolf Mountain?

The current Signature planner does not allow Montaluce or Wolf Mountain as included stops. Choose Grand Reserve to include those premium destinations. The Dahlonega Signature route requires Dahlonega Resort and Vineyard for its included boxed lunch.

Can you pick us up in Atlanta for a Dahlonega wine tour?

Yes. Atlanta departures can be planned for a Dahlonega itinerary. Send your full pickup address and desired return time so we can confirm routing, mileage charges and the schedule before you book.

Do you arrange cave tours at Yonah Mountain?

No. We do not arrange cave tours. A winery tasting visit does not include a cave tour, barrel tasting, private cabana or other special experience unless that experience is separately confirmed.
